Tinmouth, Vermont is a kind and caring community. In this spirit , Reaching Out to Neighbors was created to ensure that everyone who lives here is part of the fabric of connection in the Tinmouth Community.  The goal is to make sure that people who live alone, are elderly, single parents, have no family or close friends in town, or live remotely, are contacted by phone once in a while, or on a regular basis. The focus of check ins are during storms or threatening weather, illness, or  just to receive  friendly contact to bring the message that they are  thought about, cared about, and can be provided with support, help, or resources as possible. People who might be interested to be contacted  are identified by Gail Fallar, Town Clerk, and Marian Ackerman, resident. Everyone is welcome to reach out for contact at any time. If appropriate, Ray Pratt, who oversees Town Emergencies,  and is a member of the Fire Dept,  will be notified to ensure safety and response in emergencies if needed.  The contact person for Reaching Out to Neighbors is Marian Ackerman, Phone contact
