Board of Civil Authority
The town clerk, selectboard members and justices residing in a town shall constitute the Board of Civil Authority (BCA). The BCA oversees all elections in town, and hears taxpayers’ appeals of the listers’ valuation of their property.
Safety & Wellness Committee
The Tinmouth Safety & Wellness Committee considers the community’s needs on a broad range of subjects, including traffic, pedestrian and bicycle safety, and works with the Emergency Management Coordinator on issues of emergency preparedness and equipment, weather-emergency preparedness, wildlife issues, environmental hazards, criminal justice, and keeps the Town informed about state-wide health trends and concerns.
Tinmouth Energy Committee
The Tinmouth Energy Committee is a small group of volunteers tasked with promoting energy efficiency and conservation to town residents. For more information about the committee or to volunteer, please contact the Town Office at 446-2498.

Website Committee
The Tinmouth Website Committee works to improve and maintain the tinmouthvt.gov website as a useful information source for the town.
Zoning Board of Adjustment
The role of the ZBA is to:
- hear appeals of decisions rendered by zoning administrators
- interpret unclear provisions in the zoning ordinance
- decide on applications by landowners to permit buildings or land uses which vary from the zoning regulations.
