DESCRIPTION:We are very happy that Extra Stout will be returning to the Tinmouth Old Firehouse concert stage on Friday\, November 1 at 7:30 pm. \nBased in the Green Mountains of Vermont’s Rutland County\, Extra Stout is a traditional Irish band that has been playing together for for upwards of 25 years.  They bring all of the variety that Irish music has to offer from raucous drinking songs to ballads of home and county; from slow and haunting airs to rocking reels\, jigs and polkas.  Engaging vocalists lend their voices to great songs from Ireland’s rich history\, while skillfully playing a variety of instruments. (guitars\, fiddle\, whistles\, drums and … well\, you will just have to come out and see them!) \nExtra Stout is Mary Barron\, Sandy Duling\, Marcos Levy and Helen Mango \nExtra Stout is a one band Irish festival! \nAll concerts are on Friday nights at 7:30 PM in Tinmouth village\, doors open at 7 PM. The Old Firehouse is on Mountain View Road just a few hundred feet south of the intersection with Vermont 140. Park on the road or on the Town Green in front of the church. Suggested donation of $15 – $20.   90% goes to the musicians\, and 10% goes to the Town to support maintenance of the Old Firehouse. DESCRIPTION:The Tinmouth Old Firehouse Concert Series is back at it ~ and we are very happy that Gypsy Reel is performing our first concert of the fall season on Friday\, September 27. \nGypsy Reel plays high energy stirring music rooted in the Celtic tradition but garnered from the whole world.  Their music is an exciting synthesis of world rhythms and influences from 3 continents.  Their newest studio album\, ‘Red Red Rose features music from the tradition and original material from the band. \nTheir tours of the States\, Canada and the UK have gained them rave reviews – ‘Ended the set in a frenzy’\, ‘Gypsy Reel rocks stage at Charleston Spoleto Festival’ ‘Fine sparky playing – bags of originality’. \nThe line-up includes hot banjoist Claudine Langille\, formerly of ‘Touchstone’\, the sensational Irish/American fusion band that won critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic\, Graham Parker – eclectic fiddler extraordinaire\,  Camille Parker who has captivated the hearts of audiences across the globe with her mandolin & bodhran and her singing in French\, Spanish and English\, Silas Hamilton on standup bass and Reagh Greenleaf\, formally with the Clancys\, on bodhran and vocals. \nAll concerts are on Friday nights at 7:30 PM in Tinmouth village\, doors open at 7 PM. DESCRIPTION:Extra Stout’s Marcos Levy\, Mary Barron\, and Helen Mango perform a broad repertoire of Irish music: rebel tunes\, ballads\, love songs\, dance tunes\, drinking songs\, and sea shanties from across the centuries. Their music is rollicking\, soulful\, toe-tapping\, funny\, heartbreaking\, and timeless. \n  \nAll concerts on our Friday nights at 7:30 PM in Tinmouth village – doors open at 7:00 pm. \nThe Old Firehouse is on Mountain View Road just a few hundred feet south of the intersection with Vermont 140.  Park on the road or on the Town Green in front of the church.  Suggested donation of $15 – 20;  90% goes to the musicians\, and 10% goes to the Town to support maintenance of the Old Firehouse.  We’ll provide coffee and refreshments. \nPlease “like” and follow us on Facebook
