DESCRIPTION:We are very happy that Extra Stout will be returning to the Tinmouth Old Firehouse concert stage on Friday\, November 1 at 7:30 pm. \nBased in the Green Mountains of Vermont’s Rutland County\, Extra Stout is a traditional Irish band that has been playing together for for upwards of 25 years.  They bring all of the variety that Irish music has to offer from raucous drinking songs to ballads of home and county; from slow and haunting airs to rocking reels\, jigs and polkas.  Engaging vocalists lend their voices to great songs from Ireland’s rich history\, while skillfully playing a variety of instruments. (guitars\, fiddle\, whistles\, drums and … well\, you will just have to come out and see them!) \nExtra Stout is Mary Barron\, Sandy Duling\, Marcos Levy and Helen Mango \nExtra Stout is a one band Irish festival! \nAll concerts are on Friday nights at 7:30 PM in Tinmouth village\, doors open at 7 PM. The Old Firehouse is on Mountain View Road just a few hundred feet south of the intersection with Vermont 140. Park on the road or on the Town Green in front of the church. The day will kick off with a parade in the center of town at 3pm\, followed by lots of great activities and chances to win prizes! \nWant to be in the parade?  Decorate a tractor\, bicycle\, 4-wheeler\, motorcycle\, lawnmower … and join the fun from the Transfer Station\, and around the loop by the church\, school\, and Route 140! \nThere will be ice cream\, food\, and the Electrostatic Cats will be performing in the afternoon/evening – GREAT music to enjoy\, dance to\, and play softball with! \nTo share ideas\, and/or to volunteer to help\, please contact the Tinmouth E & I Committee Fun Day planning group. \nThe more ideas and volunteers\, the better!

DESCRIPTION:Extra Stout’s Marcos Levy\, Mary Barron\, and Helen Mango perform a broad repertoire of Irish music: rebel tunes\, ballads\, love songs\, dance tunes\, drinking songs\, and sea shanties from across the centuries. Their music is rollicking\, soulful\, toe-tapping\, funny\, heartbreaking\, and timeless. \n  \nAll concerts on our Friday nights at 7:30 PM in Tinmouth village – doors open at 7:00 pm. \nThe Old Firehouse is on Mountain View Road just a few hundred feet south of the intersection with Vermont 140.  Park on the road or on the Town Green in front of the church.  Suggested donation of $15 – 20;  90% goes to the musicians\, and 10% goes to the Town to support maintenance of the Old Firehouse.  We’ll provide coffee and refreshments. \nPlease “like” and follow us on Facebook

DESCRIPTION:For over twenty years\, The Sky Blue Boys – Banjo Dan & Willy Lindner – have combined two voices and a carload of stringed instruments to deliver a lively program of acoustic music characterized by the excitement of bluegrass\, the authenticity of folk\, and the exuberance of the old-time string-band. \nLong time favorites of the enthusiastic crowds at the Old Firehouse\, The Sky Blue Boys have revived the tradition of “brothers duets”. They have built up a large repertoire of wonderful old ballads\, parlor songs\, heart songs and sacred numbers. Heeding their own musical instincts they have expanded the accompaniment to include a variety of acoustic instruments and added many newer songs including several of their own compositions. \nWilly and Dan have played together for decades. They formed the celebrated Vermont bluegrass band Banjo Dan and\nthe Mid-nite Plowboys in 1972. But never far from their hearts were the sounds they learned to love long ago – the simple moving sounds of the early “brothers duets.” \nAll concerts are on Friday nights at 7:30 PM in Tinmouth village\, doors open at 7 PM.
